MRR. MAVMM MHSS was founded in 1992 and is blessed by Devi Arul Mighu Muthalamman, the MAVMM Sabai Deity, His Holiness Mappilai Chettiar and the Prime Donor Thiru.M.R.RAMA CHANDRAN. It is a co-educational institution with a strength of over 1400 and is recognized by the Tamil Nadu Education Board, Chennai.
The unique feature of MRR. MAVMM. is that it symbolizes the ideals of education expressed in our scriptures and literature, in students discipline and character, encouraging appreciation of our cultural heritage and yoga cultivation of genuine devotion to God, respect to Guru, Parents and Elders.

Ln T.RAMAMOORTHY has taken over as Correspondent in 2002 and Mrs.P.KALAIMAGAL as Principal since 1992.
